Samrat Urval, a proud alumnus of FLAME University, is the founder, Director, and visionary behind iEXP 360. His journey in Experiential Education began in India, inspired by his time at FLAME and the mentorship of Dr. Parekh. Graduating in 2013 with a BBA and a specialization in Entrepreneurship, Samrat's passion for outdoor and travel-based programs was ignited by the innovative environment at FLAME and the guidance of Dr. Parekh.

Recognizing the immense potential of Experiential Education, Samrat ventured to the US to further hone his skills. He pursued a Master’s in Experiential Education at Minnesota State University, Mankato, where he focused on meaningful travel immersion and outdoor learning, areas in which he has since become an expert. His commitment to safety and quality is underscored by his certifications as a NOLS Trip Leader India program graduate, Wilderness First Responder, and in Risk Management.

Samrat’s professional contributions extend beyond iEXP 360. He serves on the Gap Year Association’s Standards and Accreditation Committee and is a fervent advocate for Fair Trade Learning, championing ethical and mutually beneficial educational practices. His deep understanding of both Western values and Indian cultural ethos enables him to create impactful programs that provide safety-conscious, world-class experiences. His vision ensures that these experiences benefit everyone involved, balancing global perspectives with local insights.

Samrat's collaboration with Dr. Parekh and Dr. Jain at UBEIL represents a convergence of shared values and a commitment to advancing the field of Experiential Education. This partnership aims to integrate cutting-edge educational practices with a profound understanding of cultural dynamics, further enriching the learning experiences provided by both organizations.
